Production has become a global economic phenomenon in recent times, growing rapidly around the world in the wake of the recovery from the global economic recession. It contributes substantially to the economy of many countries where more and more resources are invested in production. However, not much production is going on in many countries. In fact as desirable as production is, many companies are folding up production or relocating their operations. Nothing by way of relief measure appears to be forthcoming from government. Unemployment threat has become aggravated. This faculty seeks to attract attention to the nature and characteristics of the production industry in most countries, to arouse interest and explore how the industry can be better planned, marketed, and well managed.

People who want to exploit the opportunities in the production industries, particularly, in management or planning positions in both public and private sectors. It will be very rewarding for planners who wish to offer professional services to the ailing industry.
Aims
To provide professional training and solid intellectual base, to deepen knowledge and develop skills built upon current techniques and state of the art in Planning and plan implementation, and to open new doors of opportunities to develop expertise in production, that has remained largely unexplored.
Objectives
The programme seeks to produce high caliber international planning professionals who possess the requisite knowledge, skills and competence to excel, either as professional planning service providers or as investors and/or executives.
