Overview
Tourism and entertainment have become a global economic phenomenon in recent times, growing rapidly around the world. It contributes substantially to the economy of many countries where more and more places are becoming aesthetic tourist destinations. In spite of abundant endowment with wealth of tourist assets, many countries fail to translate their tourism and entertainment into massive wealth. This faculty seeks to attract attention to the nature and characteristics of the tourism and hospitality industry in most countries, to arouse interest and explore how the industry can be better marketed, well planned, and efficiently managed, to raise the profile of entertainment from mere drama to a booming industry.

People who want to exploit the opportunities in the tourism and hospitality industries, particularly, in management or planning positions in both public and private sectors. It will be very rewarding to planners who wish to offer professional services to the tourism and hospitality industry.
Aims
To provide professional training and solid intellectual base, to deepen knowledge and develop skills built upon current techniques and state-of-the-art in planning and plan implementation, and to open new doors of opportunities to develop expertise in planning that has remained largely unexplored.
Objectives
The programme seeks to produce high caliber international planning professionals who possess the requisite knowledge, skills and competence to excel in commercial activities in tourism and hospitality, either as professional planning service providers or as investors and/or executives
