Safety and Security has become a global phenomenon in recent times, with the growing concern about terrorism, kidnapping, armed robbery, piracy, etc, rapidly spreading around the world. It contributes substantially to the economy ruin of many countries where more and more places are becoming terrorist destinations. In spite of massive public condemnation, and effort to combat it, crimes continue unabated. This faculty seeks to attract attention to the nature and characteristics of the safety and security situation in most countries, to arouse interest and explore how the security can be better planned, well managed and prevented.

People who want to exploit the opportunities in the security and safety industries, particularly, in management or planning positions in both public and private sectors. It will be very rewarding to planners who wish to offer professional services for a more secure society.
Aims
To provide professional training and solid intellectual base, to deepen knowledge and develop skills built upon current techniques and state of the art in Planning and plan implementation, and to open new doors of opportunities to develop expertise in security and safety planning, that has remained largely unexplored.
Objectives
The programme seeks to produce high caliber international planning professionals who possess the requisite knowledge, skills and competence to excel, either as professional planning service providers or as investors and/or executives.
