He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council. He is the Director of Planning, currently Head of Department, Planning, Budget, Research and Statistics, Agege Local Government, Lagos State Nigeria.

Tijani as a seasoned technocrat and administrator had put in over 30 years in the public service where he has held different positions of responsibility in various Adhoc and Statutory Levels.

He was a pioneer member of the production team that prepared the first Budget classification and charts of accounts for local government in Nigeria…… (2016, 2018) Tijani is an experience public servant who has been trained both locally and internationally in addition to being affiliated to so many professional bodies. Currently he is the Chairman of Conference of Local Government Planners in Lagos State with a good record of service.
